Moda Yukata by Debbie Mandy. This range is inspired by vintage yukatas and Kimonos, and features kanji text, dots, and other Japanese styled prints in shades of blue, tan and brown.
"The yukata (浴衣) is a casual version of the kimono. It is a robe usually made of cotton or synthetic fabric, wrapped around the body and fastened with a sash (obi). Yukata literally means "bathing cloth" and it was originally intended to be worn after bathing in a communal bath as a quick way to cover the body and to absorb remaining moisture.
A Moda Jelly Roll contains a selection of 40 printed strips measuring 2 1/2 inches x width of fabric, normally 42-44 inches (112-114cm). A Jelly Roll is equivalent to approximately 2 1/2 metres of fabric
